Physical therapy for CrossFit

If you’re an athlete, see an athlete!

If you participate in CrossFit, you know how challenging and taxing it can be to your body. With hard training, the inevitable aches and pains are bound to arise, and addressing them sooner rather than later will help keep you in the game. I have years of experience training in and coaching CrossFit, and am perfectly positioned to address movements and mechanics that could be contributing to your pain or injury.

Keeping you in the game

Not all therapists understand that there is more to treating pain besides telling someone to stop doing CrossFit when there is pain. CrossFit isn’t the problem, and I want you to keep doing what you love. I have years of experience treating common CrossFit injuries such as shoulder and knee pain, as well as low back pain, and other common injuries that could be hindering you in the gym. Through a good movement analysis, we often discover imbalances that can be causing your problem and affecting your performance. Based on your symptoms and movement analysis, I can help guide you through some temporary modifications that will keep you training pain free. Over time, we will begin to reintroduce previously painful movements with progressively higher loads and intensity until you are ready to return without pain or limitations.
